PUPPIES LEAVING AT ~7 WEEKS  & OTHER INFORMATION
By ~7 weeks or the ready-to-go date, all puppies from a specific litter will have been vet-checked by my 3 DVM's. They will have had 2 sets of puppy inoculations, 3 dewormings, and all dew claw's removed.  With each DVM visit, each puppy is also given a complete physical examination as well. Our DVM's check each puppies bite and tooth development. They listen to their hearts and lungs, as well as check all joints and elbows on all 4 legs.

We'll also give you a Puppy Training Kit, give you a start a DVM Health Record of what was done to the date of purchase, their AKC Registration Document (we sell all our puppies as "unlimited registrations") give you copies of both parents AKC 4 Generation Pedigrees, a Puppy Feeding Schedule, a Puppy Inoculation Schedule (of what needs to be done at 12 and 16 wk), and a 1 gallon bag of what dog food they've been eating so you can buy the same once you get them home.

We also do Home Again Microchip Implants if your dog is lost or stolen - we've had 2 Adult Labradors stolen in 1998. We got them back because they were microchipped. My cost for Home Again microchips from pet supply companies is $50.00. We don't charge anything else for doing the chip implants. I merely charge to recover the cost of the microchip. I also like to do the microchipping in front of you when we are finalizing all the AKC Required Registration paperwork. I do this as I want you to see where I physically place the microchip. (Some DVM's take your puppy away from your sight.)  After I have completed the microchipping, I will then scan the syringe for the chip. Then I will scan your puppy to prove the implanting process was successful.  I also like redundancy for the Home Again Tracking. After the implanting is completed and successful, I will set up the
your puppy's Home Again Tracking method 4 different ways - on their AKC Registration papers, on the Home Again Registration papers, a copy of the implanting chip and number for your Veteranian, as well as keep a copy of the microchipping number myself and place it on your puppy's AKC Litter Registration papers.

We require a 50% deposit on your puppy which locks you into a specific picking order - this payment can be in the form of a personal check. As far as final payment when you pick up your puppy, we've had too many NSF personal checks. We request the final payment to be either cash or a cashier's check. And if you wish the micro chipping done, that charge is an additional $50.00. Prices of the pups are listed on our main website at www.moonlighterlabs.com.

All our dogs are "English" meaning they have the nice square head, pretty face, large shoulders, slender waists and the otter tail - if you see a typical picture of Labrador on a hunting magazine, that's what our adults look like. (And also look like on our websites). All our dogs have FC/AFC bloodlines as well, which I prefer. In order for a Labrador to compete in these FC/AFC field trials, they need high intelligence - and high intelligence also transfers to any offspring.
