Moonlighter Labradors Conditions on Health Guarantee of Labrador Puppy

Breeder guarantees the dog for only Hip / Eye / or Elbow genetic issues as outlined below. This only covers the above, nothing else.

  • All veterinary and X-ray costs are at the owner's expense.
  • The dog must be registered in the original owner's name, and cannot have been sold.
  • If the dog is diagnosed by OFA as being mildly, moderately or severely dysphasic on or before 36 months of age, you must submit a copy of the x-ray and OFA report to the breeder within 5 days of diagnosis.
  • If the dog is diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist certified by the ACVO for eye problems, as having Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) or Central Progressive Retinal Atrophy on or before 12 months of age. You must submit a copy of this report to the breeder with in 5 days of diagnosed.
  • Animals used for breeding prior to x-ray and exam are not guaranteed.
  • Animals that have been abused are not guaranteed.
  • Animals that have been injured are not guaranteed.
  • All dogs are sold in good faith and no dog is sold for any specific use or guarantee of performance such as brood bitch, stud dog, show dog, field trial, or hunt test competitor.
  • If the dog is found to be defective or dysphasic as described above -- then to qualify for a replacement puppy when available:

a.) The defective dog must be euthanized by your veterinarian. A letter
from the veterinarian stating that the dog has been euthanized must be
sent to the breeder.

b.) The dog must be sterilized in a manner preferred by your                
                    Veterinarian
and a letter stating he/she has done so must be sent to the breeder.
-and-
c.) The puppy/dog and registration certificate must be returned (buyer
expense), signing the ownership of the dog back to Moonlighter
               Labrador’s.
     Buyer may have their puppy examined by a veterinarian of their choice
     within 48 hours (Owners expense). After 48 hours all sales are final.
     Moonlighter Labrador's is not responsible for parasites such as coccidiosis,
     giardia, or other parasite's puppies commonly carry.

      Any claims of a defective puppy will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
      There are no cash refunds at any time. A replacement puppy of
       comparable breeding will be done when one is available.
 
  • The breeder reserves the right to have the dog examined by a veterinarian(s) of their choice before any determination.
         Hips are guaranteed to be OFA certifiable at two years of age (24 months).
       The above requirements are necessary to enforce this guarantee and they
        are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to see that they are met. This guarantee only
        covers hereditary defects on hips and eyes. It does not cover any physical
         injuries. If a physical injury or injuries have occurred, this guarantee is
         void. *Replacement pups may be chosen from breeding of comparable
         pedigree. Moonlighter Labradors shall be the sole judge of the comparable
         pedigree. If you choose a breeding (puppy) of higher value, the
         purchasing party will be required to pay the difference. *All freight charges
         (shipping to or returning any puppy or dog to or from our Kennel) are to be
         paid for by the purchaser. above requirements are necessary to enforce
         this guarantee and they are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to see that they are
         met. This guarantee only covers hereditary defects on hips and eyes. It
         does not cover any physical injuries. If a physical injury or injuries has
        occurred, this guarantee is void. Replacement pups may be chosen            
        from by breeding of comparable pedigree. If you choose a breeding
        (puppy) of higher value, the purchasing party will be required to pay
         the difference.

         our Kennel) are to be paid for by the purchaser.)

This guarantee applies to the ORIGINAL BUYER ONLY.  Upon receipt of this guarantee, the Buyer must return a signed copy of this guarantee to the Breeder within 10 days.  Failure to return this guarantee within 10 days will automatically void the guarantee.
